time. Captain Tommy put us on keeper red fish within minutes of hitting
the water. Every place he stopped, we caught fish. Trout, black drum and
plenty of reds. And then while sight fishing for some black drum, my
husband watched a 40 inch red fish come up and take his bait and run.
WOW! After a 45 minute battle on 10 lb test and Captain Tommy's

"August, 2009: We headed out of Cove Harbor before dawn with high spirits and low expectations due to the lack of rain and high salinity in the Bay.
First trout in the box by 7:00 a.m. and more followed. With smiles and sunscreen on our faces, we headed for the flats to try our luck on Reds.
Tommy did not disappoint us. His knowledge of the Bays, patient teaching of new techniques, and sense of humor made our day on the Bay a most memorable event.
Tommy Barnard’s boat is one of my new favorite “happy places” in all of Texas. Coming back in September to fish with Cap’n Tommy."
